Facilities
Accommodation:
In the accommodation section we have 14 carpeted bedrooms, 12 with single bed bunks and 2 with double bed bunks with en-suite giving the Lodge a total capacity of 52 beds. All beds are fully made up with sheets,pillows and doonas for our B&B guests whilst our self catering guests have the option of bringing their own doona or sleeping bag or hiring doonas for a small charge. Guests need to provide their own towels.
Entertainment Area:
The entertainment area at the Lodge includes a carpeted dining room, with central heating and a wood fire and can seat 60 people. There are two adjoining rooms - a table tennis/ pool room and a TV / reading room.
All these rooms can be used during the day for lessons and discussions. If extra space is required, more is available for hire at a small fee.
Catering:
Merrijig Lodge offers either fully catered or self catered packages. For those who choose to do their own catering, we have a full commercial kitchen as well as a large cool room. For those who choose to sit back and relax while we take care of the meals, our resident cook prepares wholesome meals with energetic, hungry youngsters in mind.
Merrijig Lodge offers 24 hour - self serve tea, coffee and Milo for B&B customers.
