Merrijig Lodge specializes in school camps. With the regions magnificent weather, the Lodge is an ideal spot for both summer and winter activities of which the area has many to offer. So, here are the facts on Merrijig Lodge.
SITE
Merrijig Lodge, owner operated for over 20 years, is set on 10 acres of farmland on the banks of the Delatite River and operates all year round. References available on request.

FACILITIES
Merrijig Lodge consists of two main building, the sleeping area and the entertainment area which are inter-connected by a covered stairway so everything is all under one roof making it much easier to manage the kids. The entertainment section consists of a large dining/lounge area with a wood fire. Off this area is a separate games room with both a table tennis table and a pool table. In addition to this there is a separate TV room. The sleeping area includes 14 bedrooms in total; 12 of the rooms sleep 4 people and have shared facilities in the form of men's showers and toilets and ladies showers and toilets; whilst the other 2 rooms have small ensuites making them ideal for teachers or leaders. For the warmer months there is also a swimming pool and sauna and. For the cooler months, there is a large drying room for all that wet ski gear.
CATERING
Our resident cook creates a variety of tasty wholesome meals - we know how the fresh country air can affect the appetite! We offer the choice of a continental or cooked breakfast in the mornings, or those who are extremely hungry can enjoy both. The evening meal is 2 course dinner which may be a wholesome casserole, pasta or BBQ followed by homemade desert. We provide homemade cakes and biscuits for supper as well as self-serve, tea, coffee or milo around the clock. We can supply lunches from the Lodge by prior arrangement or, during winter, our guests can use the lunch voucher system on Mt Buller. We cater for special dietary requirements by prior arrangement.

We can arrange any number of activities, all at a reasonable price, including:

  • Snow boarding

PRICING
Our pricing is competitive and geared to fit reasonably within the budgets of most schools with activities ranging from $8 to $40 for a 2 hour session (with the exception of skiing and snow boarding).
