Bush Ranges and King Valley Wineries

Merrijig Lodge is a fantastic place to use as a base to explore Ned Kelly country and the amazing King Valley Wineries. This is best done as a day trip as it is 3 hours out and back without stops, with a scenic high country drive between. It is one of the best days of entertainment in the region including: Bush Ranger attractions such as the Kelly Tree, Stringy Bark Creek (Kelly Gang shootout), Powers Lookout and; a choice between over 20 wineries and local produce outlets. The wines are fantastic with the best known being very authentic Italian styles including Sangiovese, Prosecco, Pinto Gris and, Pino Grigio. From vineyards including Pizzini, Dalzotto, Politine and Brown Brothers.
